1love2k5
well...this post you all probably won't believe this, but i've heard this interesting story, but i'm not so sure if it's true or not, but i've heard that a woman can get pregnant by touching one of those ancient african american-looking statues. there was reported at least 130 pregnancies! i doubt it if this is in fact true, but you never know. one of the statues had like a couple holding like a baby statue with it or something like that, and if a woman came by and touched the "baby" statue, the woman that touched it became pregnant. have you ever wondered if they have real statues like that in a real museum? annie24
uuuhhh.... I highly doubt that is true. Getting pregnant usually involves having sex or getting into contact with sperm... Link to comment
DN
I have heard that some men are emotionless and unresponsive but this is taking things too far!!! Link to comment
RayKay
Okay, well, no. They do not get pregnant from the statue. You really need to add link removed to your Favourites list Even if the "stats" are true, the fact is that these woman whom believed this and so touched the statue were probably already TRYING to get pregnant which would mean well, they are likelier to get pregnant then the average person NOT trying to get pregnant. So if 130 women whom touched it were having unprotected sex in order to have children....is it a surprise they got pregnant? Or maybe if they have faith, they relaxed knowing they were turning it over to some power greater then them....and no longer stressed about it which can complicate conception. While some do believe in the biblical tale of Mary and Jesus' immaculate conception...I have yet to find someone these days whom honestly would think that it happens that way Link to comment

ShySoul
Power of suggestion. If you believe that something like that will happen, odds are you will find a way to make it happen. The true power in a situation like this comes not from the statue, but from our minds. Link to comment
