Birth control withdrawal?

Just the other night, after sex, my girlfriend complained of swelling around her vagina, and just today she complains of swollen uterus. Her perioid had ended earlier that day and we used a condom because she ran out of pills. She has to make a lengthy trip back to the city she used to live in to see her Doctor.

 

At first I thought it may be an allergic reaction to latex, but after thinking about it, the symptoms sound like menopause...Swelling, hot flashes and

she even complained of difficulty breathing, but I think she's just anxious about it all, she thinks it's cancer or something...

 

Has anyone ever had any problems with coming off birth control?

i think it could probably be an allergic reaction to the condom. did she ever use condoms before. but if she is really anxious i think she should probably visit a doctor to put her mind at ease.

We've used condoms before and there was never a problem, they were all latex.

Go to a doctor or clinic and get checked out. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Yep - see the doctor.

The only common problems with coming off the pill is a delay in her menstrual cycle regulating.
