miracle29
As some of you may have followed I'm so ready to pop. My actual due date is the 8th , but they are thinking they will induce me for a C-sec on Tuesday the 10th at 10:30 am. Since most first babys rarely come out on the due date. I'm in Alaska and so my time is different then most of your time zones. I am starting to get very excited and I'm ready for this little tyke to come on out already. I am a little scared of this c-sec but after talking to numerous women I think i'll be ok. I can't wait to see what she looks like and feel her in my arms and hold her. I cant wait. If she comes out today then that means she is on time. If not then you guys can be sure that you wont hear from me for a few weeks. Pray for me you guys that I make it through this opperation and that all goes well with her. More importantly, please pray for her health. Thank you. Link to comment
ShySoul
Hi miracle. I just posted on another thread I saw you post on and asked about the baby being due soon. I've thought about you occasionally and was curious for an update. I'll be keeping both you and the baby in my thoughts. I hope both of you come out safe and that you will be free to enjoy the wonders of a newborn soon. My sister adopted a new born about 8 months ago and its brought a lot of joy into her life. Hope you feel that joy as well. Link to comment
venus777
hmm... you're due on the 7th and scheduled for a c-section on the 10th, that's weird cause there is something like for first babies an average of 10 days late or something. most hospitals wanting to avoid c-sections would have you come in for non-stress tests to make sure the baby is o.k. instead of doing c-sections. after all a c-section IS major abdominal surgery and vaginal, while intensive in the moment, is easier to recover from and is less dangerous... congratulations on the baby though. NO I'm due on the 8th, which in some places is today. I'm in Alaska right now and its almost 12:24. My estimated due date is today. But since only 5 percent of women have their babies on the actual due date, they feel that the 10th is safe. I have no choice as far as this C-sec. I have a condition that most of the regular posters know about. It has caused me to have a mandatory c-sec. I didnt want one, and I even put up a fit and ranted and raved about this, but she is still breech and so I had to just deal wit it. I am already dialating. I went to the Dr. on Wednesday and the Dr said "you're about 2 centermeters". Later that night I was spotting a bit, but that has actually stopped. Now i'm just hoping the water breaks or something. I'm tired of waiting. I feel like i've been pregnant for ever! Atleast i'm dialating! So the estimated due date was not so far off. Who knows tonight she may surprise me, or she may hold for Tuesday. Keep in mind that some women can be up to 4 or 5 centermeters dialated and still not give birth for weeks, but in my case, i want her outta here. Link to comment

RayKay
Getting close miracle! I know you are nervous about the C-section, but trust the doctors, and in your case it is the best thing they can do. You and baby will be just fine, and holding her will make every bit of it worth it RayKay Link to comment
