A milestone in the healing

Thought I'd share another minor event.

I met a lady my age and had lunch with her. Far from a date, it was fun to chat with a lady in a coffee shop. We had a great time comparing divorce stories and just hanging out. No big deal but it was very comfortable just babbling away and listening to her view of the world. Never thought I'd be doing such a thing when I got up this morning.

 

Women sure smell good.

It's nice to have someone you feel comfortable with, and can relate to.

Both: In the sense that companionship is nice, and to have someone to talk to - but also that you can listen to her.

She paid for coffee so it's on me next time.

She's not anyone I'd get involved with but very good company.

 

It feels strange to be in that situation after 27 years with my ex.
