Hmmm..The thing that does it for me is a good broad manly BACK. Yes. Broad shoulders, oooh. Nice eyes are a plus. But the main thing for me is a LOT of charisma. Every girl is different though, but i think a lot would say striking eyes.

Factors of attraction really do differ from person to person but I personally believe that in any type of relationship that you expect to last long term, the key is personality.

 

Anyhow, as others have mentioned, looks are nice in any individual but the humor, sense of confidence (not to the point of an ego overload though), approachable. All are excellent for any person and can even outweigh physical flaws. Conversation skills are a plus.

 

I think though, that with any girl or woman whom is worth your time will notice your personality and your looks, if she is centered strictly on saying how you look but not on the personality basis, I'd be a tad bit iffy if you're looking for something that will be happy and last awhile.

In my experience though, as a guy, what men and women want are the same. You can say physical traits, but with the right person that will be set aside. You can say personality, but thats a broad thing. What it really comes down to is the bond or connection. Do two people truly love, appreciate, and understand each other? That is what we all want.

As everyone else has said, personality is the key. I hear some girls tlaking sometimes, they say they like someone cause they are hot. To me, being a male, it sounds more like a 1 night stand excuse. You fall in love with someone for who they are on the inside, not the outside.

As a fellow guy in touch with my feminine side, I believe it is more accurate to say that we do not speak for women but that we are more in tune with how they think and thus are more likely to have the same feelings ourselves.

 

Anyways, personality, understanding, and connection is what I see. It's rather vague and unclear, which explains why it can be so hard to find the right person. But when you know, you just know.
