better ways to go about it

So i dated this girl about about 4 years ago, we had a bad break up and didn't remain friends haven't seen her or lived in the same town for about 2 years. We have no mutual friends. Well my sister was out of town and saw her a few weeks ago and I really want to call her. I'm over her completely no cause for concern about that. But would it be creepy of me to call her parents # I got off of the internet to try and get ahold of her. Let me know.

i say give them a call,i just got a call from an ex two nights ago,i had not seen or talked to her in over 3yrs when i realized it was her i almost fell outta my chair but i was delighted to hear from her

Hi, I think it would not be a great idea, if her parents ask how you got their number, what would you say?.

It's better if you had any old addresses of her, maybe send a Christmas card.

 

If you want to "close" a bad cycle then go for it, if not and because things ended bad it might be better to leave it.
