Can you be too young for love(input from both sexes would be

me and my girl friend(of 3 mounths) feel like we really love each other. Shes going into high school, and i am in my last year of jr highschool. anyways i would like to know if it is too young to feel this way

I'm not sure there is such thing as 'love' at such a young age. Infatuation - yes. Lust - most likely. Love - I don't believe so.

I believe there can be love, you just have to find the right person. You say you are a junior in highschool? That means you should be 16? 17? My mom and dad got together when they were 14...and have been together since, of course they fuss and fight...but they are IN LOVE. I dont know if you can really be in love at this age or not, but I believe I am...love is one of those undefined terms, but whatever I am in...I really like it. Anybody can be in love though...it just takes the right person, and the right amount of time to grow together in love. That is what I think about it anyways.

Everybody's different, at the age you guys are at it's probably lust and infatuation. Just remember to take things slow and not to rush into sex or anything, you guys still have a lot of time.

I am not sure how old that makes you (we have a different system here) but regardless I think you can fall in love at a very young age. It may not be a mature love in all senses of the world but for the two of you it is love.

 

Just remember though that being in love does not necessarily mean being together forever. Love, like all emotions, can come and go. Enjoy your feelings but try not to put too many expectations on your relationship at a young age. Live your relationship day to day for now and have fun.

Yeah sure then you guys are old enough to be in love. As I said before though, don't put too much pressure on yourselves by worrying about whether it is love or not and is it going to be forever and all that stuff.

I think you can be in love at any age, obviously it is different within age groups. When you are 40 and married thats a different kind of love than if your 16 and just starting, i think when you are inb love at such a young age you have reached your capacity of love, you still feel the same emotions, but as you grow your ability of love will grow with you

It oculd be love. In fact, I have a friend, who she met her husband when she was 15 and so was he. They've been together for about 17 close to 18 years by now- happily married for close to 10 years. Their relationship goes to show that young romance can last! It really depends on how honest and loving you guys are towards one another. If you genuinely love each other deeply, and if both of your intentions are good, your relationship can last for a lifetime.
