It Was Only A Kiss? (question for the guys)

It has been a year since my friend and I were intimate. He broke up with me last August.

 

For all you skeptics out there, it is difficult-not impossible to be intimate with a friend and then remain friends after a break-up, if you both want too.

 

A few days ago we had a spontaneous "clear the air" kinda chat. We talked about remaining good friends. Afterwards he asked me to go have a beer at a closeby lounge. We had a great time catching up. He had to be somewhere tho, so we had one drink and left.

 

And then, he reached over, pulled me close and kissed me goodnight.

 

Question for the guys...Do you typically kiss a "friend" goodnight if your intentions are to stay just friends?
