Kasers41901
Hi guys, its me again--- Another question, wow its good to be able to just hop on the computer and have 90% of your questions answered or at least some killer advice, Anyways..... Well I am wondering is it possible to have a period and be pregnant, I mean I am having every single symptom of being pregnant, from the boobs hurting, the darkening around the areola, I even feel super sick to my stomach, certain smells get me.... like popcorn You would think I know about all this but I never had a kid with a period and honestly never heard of one so thats why I am here... My period was only like 2.5 days long.... and then gone, Please any ideas or what not would be great thanks all!!!! Link to comment
studygirl
Yes, it is possible. It all depends on your menstrual cycle and how close to the end of your period you begin ovulating. Sperm can stay in your system for up to 5 days so if you begin ovulating within a week after your period, you can still fertilize your eggs. Link to comment
melrich
What you think may be your period could be implant bleeding (embryo attaching to the uterus). Take a pregnancy test. Link to comment
RayKay
Yes possible, especially if the "period" seems different then usual. It could also be implantation bleeding as the fertilized egg implants into uterine lining, or breakthrough bleeding some women have in early pregnancy due to still lower hormones, for example. Get a pregnancy test to be sure, if you have been pregnant before, you know your symptoms better, and it sounds like you think you might be. Take a test to be check either way! Link to comment
jemr
Just to let you know, I am now 2 months pregnant and I am still having my period. The same thing happened when I had my daughter so it can happen. It is not often but it happens. The best thing to do is get a pregnancy test. Link to comment
