return of the Ex

Does anyone have a story about an ex that they reunited with years later? How long had you been apart for, what was the reason for the initial break-up, what brought the two of you together again, how long did it last, etc.

I don't know anyone personally who this happened to but it happened to Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony...a couple marriages and divorces later. My point is, this kind of reunion years later can often happen (if it happens at all, that is) after both people have tried seeing others and those relationships have failed and if the two people parted on friendly terms.

I don't personally know of anyone it has happened to but you do occasionally read about it. I remember one couple who saw each other before WW2 and lost track of each other then found each other again 50 years later.
