Should I talk to her?

I've recently started the online dating thing. I got in touch(online) with one girl whose profile I liked. She seemed OK with me but said there was 'someone else' and that she was confused now. But she did say that we could be friends anyway.That was 3 days ago. Should I contact her again or wait for her to initiate it?

If you are ok with just being friends, then of course you should contact her. If you think you are the kind of person who would easily fall for her or expect more, you may want to avoid the heartache. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with making a new friend. And maybe you can help her be less confused.
