Confused about our relationship status

So I've been friends with this guy for awhile. He asked me if we could hang out, and we went on a date, (and I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be more than friendly). After that, we talked like every day, and then about two days later I asked if we could hang out again (I like him, if you haven't figured it out yet, lol). He said yes, and so basically he's been coming over to my house like every day. He also acts kinda flirty sometimes and seems to love talking to me, and he's really nice and funny. He acts like that around other girls too. However, I am confused...I'm starting to think he just thinks of us as friends, but I'm not so sure. He hangs out with my family because they're just always there when he comes over, I guess. But he hasn't really officially "asked me out" yet, or even tried to make any moves on me. Does anyone know what's going through this guy's head? I feel kind of stupid asking about our relationship status, because I don't want him to think I'm being so serious about it, you know? Thats a tough one because I know what it is like to be a friend when you wanted more. In this case, if he is not making the moves to "ask you out" in a more intimate way then he very might well just see you as a friend. Don't get down on yourself if that is the case. I realize you are starting to really like this guy, so if you want to be sure maybe you should increase your flirting tactics and see if he picks up on your signals....
