Has anyone here entered a relationship with the intention to build it to a 'couplehood' only for it to turn out that the partner think you as only their best friend and said,

"WHAT THE?!?!?!?!?!?!"

"WHERE DID I?!?!?!"

"WHERE WAS THE TURN THAT SAID FRIENDSHIP???!?!?!?!"

Yeah, it happens to me from time to time. The woman I'm seeing sees that I'm so nice that they don't want to screw things up by dating me. I have a lot of women friends now. lol At least it gives me a better insite into a woman's heart. Only bad part really is that they think that now that we're just friends, they now have the best of both worlds. They can date the more "interesting" bad boys, while they attempt to use me for emotional support. Women who do that to me don't stay my friends for long. The other guy gets all the benefits while I get all the problems? lol I don't think so.

 

Now, when I meet someone that I'm interested in, I put in a subtle reminder every now and then, that yes I'm a nice guy, yes I think you're a nice woman, but I'm not interested in being just friends and if that's all you want, we can go our separate ways. And of course I do all the romantic stuff too, not because I want to get her to feel the same way, but because I want to make her feel special. If she falls in love with me because of it, all the better.

 

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. It's all game, one I don't particulally like playing, but one we all have to play anyway if you want to find someone.
