He said he likes me, and I like him too

My crush told me he has a crush on me, and I told him I feel the same way too. 

What does it mean? We're in different country, we've dated once and see each other for the first time. After that we don't talk consistently.

I told him after he confessed to me that he has a crush on me, I asked if when is he planning to visit here (since we're in different country)? and he answered "When do you want me to go there?" then I respond "Whenever you like it." then he responded again that, "What if you're the one who comes back?" (which in our hometown).

Does he have intentions?

Well ... that's 5 lines of text / email / exchanged.  That's not enough to gauge someone's intentions.  Maybe he would like to get to know you better.

Hi @Jaunty so you're also saying that he doesn't like me enough to pursue yet? Like to go and see me miles away. But we don't talk consistently. He just left me hanging after he told me that he likes me.

Omg @Wiseman2 you still remember! Yes same man! We met last month as we're able to be in the same country that time. We had a great time. We dated once as that was the only time I had when I visited my hometown.

It seems casual. Like if you're in town, May we'll get together. That's ok. It's fine to be his fan.

But since you're not in a relationship, you can invest your time and energy into getting a good profile and pics on quality dating apps and start talking to and meeting local, available, real-life men 

You can be a fan and follow his content as well as find realistic viable men to date.

Fans have crushes on their idols all the time, it rarely comes to anything.  If he wants to spend any time with you, then he will ask you for a date and you can take it from there.  Otherwise, there is nothing much to talk about, is there?

You're in different countries and met once, so you're not dating or in a relationship. That means you're free to date local available men if you want a BF/relationship. You can still follow his content and enjoy it.

@Jaunty As what I mentioned, he (my crush) confesses his feelings to me and we have mutual feelings to each other. We like each other. For now we're not able to easily see each other anytime as we're in different country. I've dated and see each other once and been talking long distance but not consistently.

If he wants to act on his crush he will plan a date in advance in public so you both feel comfortable and you two will figure out when and where to meet. He can have a crush and not be willing to put in the effort to act on it by going on a date with you.  It's easy to use sweet words when meeting is likely not to happen.

Lol, so ur gonna go try to see someone....iN a DifFerEnT cOUnTrY....over 5 lines of text?? Be realistic. I would wait a little while, see if his intentions are real and get to know him better first. Now if ur close to his country and u can drive there in some minutes, fine. Otherwise, no. Ur not even in a relationship. U need to think.

It's pretty easy to say "I like you too" or "I have a crush on you" via text.  People who are really into someone else WILL be in consistent contact with them.   It is what it is.  Do with it what you feel like doing.
