maddeclipse99
I turned 18 in April, so I have no longer been a minor for over a month now. In less than two weeks, I will graduate high school. I have never dated before, ever, because I've never been able to find a guy I'm been interested in. I've always been extremely mature for my age, so guys my age never appealed to me since they tend to be so immature. I have always been interested in somewhat older guys though. Recently, a teacher was replaced - not one of my actual teachers though. This new teacher, well I am extremely attracted to him. We've only known each other for a month or two, but we seem to get along really well. I'm not sure how old he is, but he is at the very, very least 22. My friends tell me its wrong to even think about dating him, but I don't see what the big deal is. I'm not a minor and in two weeks I will have graduated, so I won't be a student at my school anymore. I'm not in love with this teacher. I'm not looking for a serious relationship out of it. I'm not even sure if I want to date him. I'd just like to get to know him better for potentially dating. However, I'm not even sure if he'd be interested in me in general or due to my age. I don't want to just come out and say it or make an obvious move, because it may create a serious problem if someone saw and it may freak him out with my forwardness. I have tried to subtly flirt with him, although I'm not sure how he perceives my actions. I seem to be getting an okay response though, but I can't tell if he's returning my flirts or if he's just being nice. Even if he doesn't have the slightest interest in me, is there ANY mature way to let him know that I am interested in him without looking stupid and without causing a problem? I will only see him a few more times before I graduate, so I would like to know if there is anything I can do quickly to get the hint accross...my time is running out. I have currently been giving out personal business cards to friends I want to keep in touch with after graduation, would it be too immature to give him one and write a note on it telling him how I feel? Maybe I could tell him after I graduate. I ran into him in the mall one day and found out he works part time there – could I somehow let him know there after graduation? I'm so lost about the situation. What do you think I should do???? Link to comment
socalguy123
go to his part time job, tell him you're shopping and how nice a surprise it was to see him (again), and ask him to join you for a cafe latte, on his next break! then say you really want to catch some movie (something dumb, or even a horror flick.) If he's smart, he'll offer to take you, and if you guys go--the first bloody scene, you duck into his arms, let him sniff your perfumey hair.. and WHAMMO! guy is hooked Link to comment
