I'm in that mode often and even pre-cell phone I would pick up my landline and call my loved one just to check in briefly or make some sort of contact. So much more ridiculously easy to make contact no. No excuse.  What are you going to do? Is this ok with you?

He could've texted you while sitting on the toilet, or in between bites of eating his lunch. He could've said, "Just a quick note to tell you I love you. Swamped at work so I just wanted to touch base. Hope you're having a good day." That takes 30 seconds he couldn't spare to the one person who should be his bright light, thinking of her as his comforting beacon to reach out to during a hard day.

Now you've learned what doesn't work for you. When you meet a guy who knows how to be a good bf, you will appreciate him all the more. I know that happened to me.
