If you do not live with him, you can just arrange him have visitations.

How long have you been dating? How far along are you? Do you live with family or him?

Break up, staying together for the kid is a terrible reason. 
 

Break up and bring your best efforts to co parenting, that’s my two cents.

Find the kid a good father figure like a brother/cousin/grandfather or uncle in your family or his. Ditch the jerk.
