Breaking up is hard to do. even when you're 90% sure it's the right thing to do (rarely can anyone be 100%?)

 

I recently left an otherwise good relationship due to geographical distance and it's been tough...I think leaving (if that is what you ultimately decide to do) due to emotional distance is even more challenging - but certainly valid. Sorry you're struggling with the decisions you're mulling over but I'm glad you found a place to be open about what you're going through.

 

Many of the contributors here have a super "matter of fact/cut straight to the chase/no time for sugarcoating" style that can come off a little gruff, but I'm sure the veterans have heard it all before so they don't have a lot of patience for some of the nonsense you can find here... That said, they are so caring and speaking from a place of wanting to help, and I hope you get all the help you want here. The perspective I've gotten here has helped me immensely.
