Making sense of the nonsense

Done, posted. In summary, I ended the dates pretty quickly; there was no interest or mutual understanding, so instead of conforming to whatever they had in their mind, I left. It's a good feeling, to be empowered, and not have to debase myself to make someone else happy.

I understand your frustration, but it sounds like you head into a date with expectations, personally that would make me feel quite uncomfortable. As other have said, just feel things out, find a way to find out what they are looking for in general (keep in mind they probably won't know what they want from YOU yet while they are trying learn who you are and how you might fit in their life)
