That's good. He sounds obnoxious. Next time do not engage in combative insulting banter. Just cut and run at the first indication. Try to get out of the habit of sarcasm and cynicism that then escalates and devolves into this type of exchange:

The guy is a champion manipulator - POSSIBLY a narcissist. I think hes likely well-read on the Pick-Up Artist techniques and more. He knows exactly what he is doing. These types are oxygen thieves. Honestly, run, do whatever it takes to not have this person in your life please.
