Is it creepy or bold?

Is it creepy to get a guys number from the employee scheduling app (i.e. HotSchedules) and then text him? I think he is cute and would like to get to know him outside of work. I haven't had a chance to talk to him much at work.

To be honest, women approaching men is such a novelty that fewer men would mind this than women. STILL, just ask for the guy's number in person or, as MLD suggests, add him to FB and ask from there. Ideally, I'd suggest not ****ing where you eat as far as dating folks from work goes, but if you must, be direct about it rather than getting numbers from a source not intended for social purposes.

Ask for his number in person, he'll most likely just give it to you. I once had someone who fixed my phone take my number while they were fixing it and I was really unhappy about that. It was unprofessional and they should've had my permission. It's polite to ask.
