emotionality
My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 4 years...3 if you don’t count the first year before we broke up for 2 years. We were 14 when we first became a couple and He was the first guy I ever loved. A year in we broke up for 2 years and then got back together and now have been together for almost 3 years. I love him so much but lately I feel I haven’t been getting enough out of the relationship. I find myself fantasizing about other men or even past relations with other men. We don’t have sex anymore. We argue a lot. We live together but I feel like we are drifting apart. I’ve caught him talking to other girls and it hurt me and now I feel I can’t fully trust him. But like I said I love him. I just don’t know what to do because I want to be free and figure it out but I feel stuck in the relationship. What should I do?
Keyman
Everything in life really boils down to the question, 'Does it make you happy?' If it makes you happy, then do it. If it doesn't make you happy, go find something that makes you happy. You can love him all you like, but if you are not happy, you are not happy. So, either find a way to be happy with him, or, leave and find your happiness elsewhere.
MissCanuck
You've both outgrown the relationship. It worked when you were young teens but you're both ready to spread your wings and move on.
