Oh absolutely, I totally underatand why she thought and still thinks that their is potential. If I were her, and he was flying down to be with me during an emotional time for two weeks despite having a girlfriend I would get the vibe that their was still hope as well. I've told him several times that he leads her on by allowing this to happen and frequently emotionally validating her. He doesnt fully grasp that the amount of validation he gibes her/the level of emotional dependency she has on him would typically be reserved for a significant other.

I'm speaking to him about all this tonight, will provide updates.

Oh, he is aware -- believe me!

Going to be with someone during an emotional time is not a "vibe" - its very clear communication. A "vibe" is when a guy comes up to talk to you every time he sees you and you think he's giving you the "vibe" that he likes you - but its not for sure because he could just be recognizing you as the only person in the room he knows, etc.

honestly, how can you be "on break" but yet he is telling you "i love you" -- that's not a break if you are still communicating.

I think no matter what you tell him about validating her -- it doesn't change his character. plenty of other fish in the sea for you. And he is laying it on thick rather than being contrite/making changes, isn't he? If he oh baby's you enough he thinks that fixes it. If its not her - there will be someone else

This is not about her.

He is fully aware, but doesn't care. He is not an idiot. He has two girlfriends: she provides the emotional need, and you provide the sexual and social need.

I think it is high time you look at HIS actions, as you are being played for fool. Get your head out of the sand.

I wonder how he was going to coordinate the X-mas bit. I'm thinking that you would not be seeing him over this period.

Why do you settle for so little? He does not respect you, at all!
