Ex gf kicked me out after 2 and a half years. There was a few weeks of being cold to me. Split the animals, and she had a new bf after a week. A mutual friend of ours that she always had around and I resented. Been a very hard time for me, but I am losing weight and getting my career together. Just figured I'd post to get it out there as I am the one left lonely in my new place. I don't have some woman to run to to hide the pain.

I mean, you can always find yourself a woman to bury your pain in, but that's not what you're really looking for...right? What exactly are you looking for?

Also, so sorry you're going through this dear. It sounds like she had been planning this out for a while.

She was still wanting me to propose less than a month before she left. It really wasn't that long. No I don't want a woman to take the pain away. I've faced it head on, but I still miss her so much. We hit a rut and she ran instead of sitting down and working through it. She is still young (22) so I can understand. It came as a shock to everyone and noone really likes how she has handled this.

Mmm, as a woman who wanted her ex to propose, that may have been part of the catalyst for her leaving. She wanted marriage, you hadn't officially put that offer on the table, she felt ill-used, and so she went and found someone to salve her wounded ego.

Do you want her back or do you just want commiseration?

I'm in NC and yes of course I want her back. She had been asking me when I was going to for over a year. So it makes sense. She even accepted if we had a long engagement just a few weeks before she left. We had communication issues that I wish I had seen then.

Firstly, push away the idea of getting her back. Secondly, be on the NC unless she tries to contact you.

Whatever issues you had, let it remain in the past, there is no point to think about it now, because right now, you must think about yourself, you must pamper yourself. And please, don't run into another woman to hide your pain. Feel the pain, and learn from it. Be positive and you'll attract the positive at the soonest.

Let your ex live the life the way she wants to, she's your past now and this is why don't look back.

That is what I am doing. I know she isn't coming back. She threw away all of the beautiful memories we made when things got hard. I made plenty of mistakes that I regret in hindsight. You live and you learn. She went straight to another man and learned nothing.

Now its none of your business. It's her life now. You're single and you've got to watch your sixes now, not hers.

Just sit back and recline. You'll be fine if you'll start working upon yourself and think about yourself on becoming the best person.
