Why does his ex keep asking about him? Should I be worried?

Hi, me and my boyfriend have been together almost a year now, I'm very insecure and have low self esteem issues, he's younger than me and hasn't been in but a few relationships, the last serious girlfriend he had he said he was in love with her, they were together 6 months before she left him and quit talking to him, she broke his heart, that's been a few years, she lives in in the same town as us and she's got a that she left him for and a 1 year old son with him, she saw his dad and step mom where she works and asked about him and said she worries about him, and his brother was talking to her on Facebook a week ago and she asked him about how his brother was doing, should I be worried? Why does she keep asking about him? It's obvious he's in a relationship now, he told me he wouldn't take her back but I don't believe him, he's ran away from home before so he could be with her when they were together, what do I do?

Could be something as simple as one person just inquiring about another. Just bc you break up don't mean you stop caring, so just a quick question of how someone is doing means nothing

Why does she worry about him? What's going on in his life that she needs to worry?

She has a boyfriend that she left your bf for and a one year old son with him. I think you should give your boyfriend more credit then you are to think that he would go back with someone who would do that to him.
