Just a general question for the group... I was with a group of friends this weekend, and this question came up and I was generally curious how other people think about this. If you go on a date or two with someone you met via online dating or a dating app, would you continue to be active on the site and/or app, and seeking out other prospective dates?

Yes of course, remain active. Remain active until you both decide on Exclusivity.

 

Think of it like this: say you met someone at a party, and you go on a date or two. Would you turn down other dates during that time? Would you be upset if they went on other dates at that time? I hope the answer is that of course, you'd both freely date other people, until you had been on enough dates together that you decided on Exclusivity.

If i really liked the first guy i would turn down other dates.

I'd have my account remain active until we decided to both be exclusive. Deciding on that usually takes about a month of dating.
