My pregnant partner of 12 weeks suddenly decided she doesn't want to be in a relationship with me. She was so different before, thought the world of me, claimed her love for me was greater than she has ever known, now she's pulled back and feels like she wants to be alone, or not with me at least. I've been kind and loving and supportive, and was fully ready to dive into the possibility of a family, & at the very least be together to be with and raise and help with the baby for a few years.

 

The pregnancy was unexpected, & we live in different countries, so for the last 2 months I've been flying to see her when my schedule allows. I just arrived 3 days ago, we made love twice, we enjoyed each others time. we also had some discussions, some a bit tense about our situation, but I did not expect her to say she just wants to be friends, she does not want to be in a relationship with me. It is heartbreaking, & there seems to be nothing I can do.

 

Any words of advice would be very appreciated, I'm having a pretty hard time with all this.

Well we are keeping the baby, & she's under the illusion that it'll be no problem raising an infant by herself, and that co-parenting from different countries will be fine.
