Severe Anxiety after Job Interview

I had a job interview today in a field that I have experience in. I've gotten good feedback from past jobs on my interview skills, but after this interview I started feeling extremely anxious and almost depressed. I was unable to eat, and felt listless. I keep going over everything I said, and how I should have said something else instead. I am analyzing every facial expression the interviewer made, and wondering what I did wrong. I just can't stop thinking about it and worrying. I'm dreading getting rejected, or feeling like they didn't like me.

I've been through a lot this past year, and maybe that has affected me. Has anyone else dealt with this? Is this normal or is this something more? I'm sitting here almost in tears, and the old me would have been like, "If they don't hire me, it's their loss!"

If you look at it this way, it may relieve you from anxiety. Think that whatever's done can't be changed. So instead of looking at all the things you could have said, focus your energy on a situation where they call you back with a second interview. If the result is unknown, do not think about it much. They may offer you a job. And all the energy you are spending right now would seem worthless. Try doing things like singing motivational songs or whatever that interests you. Exercise, gym, dance have been proven to relax. And hey, they haven't even rejected you !
