Work is not a singles bar. People go to work to earn a living, not get hit on by the office flirt. Watch out for sexual harassment . Get on dating apps to flirt.

Flirting can give the wrong impression, yes. It's one thing to be friendly, that's not a problem, but flirty is something else entirely and is not necessary. You really should only be flirting with a man/woman you are interested in, but not in the workplace.

 

I agree with Wiseman, flirting especially at work, makes you look unprofessional, and/or a trouble maker or immature. It's not the time or place.
