Did he used to do things for your birthday?

 

Does he do anything for other holidays? Does he take you out often?

 

If you want something, tell him what you want - some men (my hubby included) are the worst gift-givers. But you gotta love them, because I'm sure they shine in other areas of your life.

 

I get it - my love language had been "Gifts" almost my entire life (latch-key kid growing up with a dad always working, so they got me stuff all the time to make up for it), and for a few years, I really fought through that. Not that gifts aren't nice, but if your hubby is always trying to be loving in his own way, you have to really focus on that instead.
