Someone who is looking for peace like me I understand how you are feeling, I've been suicidal and actually went through with it but I was saved. I'm very thankful today that I was saved. I still struggle with suicidal thoughts, but every-time it happens, it tends to pass. It will pass. Really, I do understand. It sucks but please just go to the emergency or call 911 instead. No, you are not thinking straight. I told you, I've been there! Then see your doctor, or got to a clinic talk to a dr first and then decide. It is a good idea, that way you at least 1 person will know what you are going through. Talk to a DR, they will be non judgmental and non-biased. Then you make that call on weather to go through with it after you tell someone what's bothering you. Just trust me, give yourself at least that 1 chance! Link to comment
RainyCoast Posted April 3, 2017 Share Posted April 3, 2017 then you know your odds of surviving are 95%. odds of dying about 2,5 same as odds of waking up a vegetable. basal or fast acting? how do you plan to determine the fatal dose, seeing as...it's not been done yet? it's horrid that ppl think meds will end it all painlessly. overall suicide attempts with medication are successful in about a percent of all attempts. irreversible damage is quite common though. RainyCoast Posted April 3, 2017 Share Posted April 3, 2017 what solutions to your problems have you tried? i used to trick myself by postponing the decision for two weeks. told myself if i really saw no other option, i could still do it then. i'm still here, obviously, and, like Juju, grateful for it. i decided it doesn't matter what's going on at any given time, i have a right to not be miserable about it. strangely, that helped. RainyCoast Posted April 3, 2017 Share Posted April 3, 2017 yikes man! if we're talking U-100 insulin that sounds like a recipe for seizures from hell. i doubt you'd be here if all you wanted was to end it. i don't believe anyone genuinely wants to end their life, they want to end their pain. what i've learned is when all avenues seem closed, there are still countless solutions. how do you feel when a patient is wanting to die?
