Can two people feel an instant connection?

Can people feel that instant connection when they first meet. Does it always last and workout between them. Does it fade away after awhile?

I suppose it depends on your definition of connection. Do you mean a deeply passionate, lustful/sexual connection, a spiritual connection, an intellectual connection, a basic compatibility connection, or a combination of all of these-type-connection?

Absolutely, two people can have an instant connection upon meeting. Sometimes it may feel as if you've known the person forever, you feel at ease around them and can talk to them about everything and anything.

Does it last? Well, it's no different than any other dating situation, unfortunately the instant connection is no guarantee that things will work out. Speaking only for myself, I felt this probably 2-3 times in my life, but none of them even ended in a relationship.
