Why Did My Ex Girlfriend Send Me A Happy Valentines Day Message?

Hi everybody,

I would like to know what you think about this. I broke up with my ex girlfriend last February. We fought and then she told me we need to be friends and I accepted. Honestly, I think we can't be friends, I don't see her as a friend. So last 6th February I asked her if we can stop talking for some days because I needed to think about what happened. And I also told her to not contact me. "As you wish" she told me.

I asked her to not contact me but she sent me a Valentin's day message. So... does this mean something? Does this mean she wants to come back? Or it doesn't mean anything?

I was asking myself about this but I don't know what to think.

Has anyone else had any experience with this?

Thank you

If she wanted to come back, she'd have said so; she wasn't coy about sending you a Valentine's Day message.

Unless you have further contact, assume that it doesn't mean anything, carry on with your NC and the rest of your life.

Unfortunately it still sounds like a friendzone like message. What did the message say? Anything personal or just generic happy vday stuff?

She sent you a message, it was a greeting and it doesnt mean anything. You are over thinking it. Delete the message and let it go.

Well, it was just a "Happy Valentine's Day" message and that's all.

I don't know why but I forgot to say something important. That day I answered her, but I answered "Thank you Jennifer... oops sorry, I mean Karen". Jennifer is her friend and I met her a few days ago. I just told her that to see her reaction. Then I told her: "I'm sorry, I mistaked because Jennifer was talking to me these last days". She asked me "About what?" and then she sent a message to her friend to know what's going on.

I don't know if she got jealous, or why she reacted like that. And then my birthday was 20th February and she didn't send me any message. We haven't talked since that day.

A friend told me that maybe this is a good sign. She got jealous and that's why she didn't send me any message.

What do you guys think about this? Or should I forget everything and move on?

These games are meant for children, not adults. The bottom line is if she wants to get back together, she'll make it clear and without a doubt.

Why play games? Do you think attempting to make her jealous will get her back?

I'm sorry, but I think you guys give up very easily. Maybe I'm wrong, but if she gets jealous it means she doesn't see me as a friend and she broke up with me because she was very angry.

I see it was a mistake to ask here. Have a good day guys

How old are you? You want us to interpret a happy valentine message from your ex? Did she sent you one today? You are overthinking and also playing child games. Sorry we didn't answer what you wanted us to say.

What's the difference if she hates you because she's pissed or just hates you or just doesn't want to be with you? The net result is she's not with you.
