bri2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Idk if it's just me but I couldn't tell you how many time things have ended with a guy I was talking to by us just stopped talking. Seems it happens a lot so is it me? Am I doing something wrong or does this happen to everyone?
vesper Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 So you are saying that you stop FIRST and then the guy stops talking to you after you stop talking to him. Usually if you don't respond to their attempt at communication, they assume you are not interested. You have GOT to keep the convo going if you are interested in them. Make sense?
Wiseman2 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 It's so common it's called ghosting or flaking or fading out. And yes anyone who's done online or any dating for that matter has seen this. People are multi-dating or not into relationships or met someone or an ex came back or just not feeling it, etc etc etc..
lostandhurt Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Many people follow rules so strictly that they miss out on really great opportunities. "I texted her last so it is her turn" "He was vague on meeting again so forget it" It can happen where people ghost or flake and unfortunately it happens a lot but there are times when the interest level is misunderstood or the other person assumes something that isn't correct. This is why I am not a fan of texting because it is way to easy for any of these things to happen. You may have some part in this happening but without more context from you it is impossible to tell. Lost
JaggerJim Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Well it's like fishing. You hook a guy/girl and try to reel them in. But sometimes the fish jumps off the hook and swims away. Same as in dating.
