Why doesn't he ever want to do anything with me?

Sometimes I ask him if he can FaceTime while he isn't doing anything and he says "I don't want to" almost all the time. When I ask him if he could come hang out and talk with me in the cafeteria at lunch he says "but I want to play football" and I really gets annoying I almost always let him get his way but I can't take it anymore. What do I do? Why does he do this?
