Ex contacted my sister - thoughts?

I've been NC exactly 30 days today. My sister let me know that my ex contacted her through social media asking her how I was. My sister asked jokingly 'why do you miss her? Haha' she replied 'um no just asking' then my ex proceeded to ask her if she wanted to go to a club next week. Instead, my sister invited her to her bday party this weekend (just to see if she would take the bait) and she replied 'awkward, I won't be there but have fun'

 

Thoughts?

 

Ps no, I'm not trying to dwell on it, but I'm curious to know why the dumper would do that. She knows it would get back to me.

Tell your sister you appreciate her telling you, but in the future, would she please block your ex on social media/not talk about you?

No chance, they just used to get along well when we were dating.

 

I'm just wondering if she's just trying to get rid of some guilt by knowing it was gonna get back to me for me to at least know she's not cold hearted and cares to at least ask how I'm doing. I figure it was just easier rather than contact me and get into a conversation neither of us want or are ready for.

Yes but you should ignore it. She didn't directly reach out to you, so she's either playing games or was hitting on your sister. That's why I asked.

 

She needs to put more effort into whatever she's trying to do.
