He's really confused right now. About a lot of things. First, he met someone. It all seemed to be going well. He learned from past mistakes and didn't lie, he was always honest, it all seemed to be going well then one day he's told he deserves better. He's always told he deserves better but better never comes. He's left to wondering why this always happens to him.

 

His job is the same. He does what's required of him. He shows up on time. He does the required work. But he's constantly passed over for better positions. He's on the graveyard shift and has been there for four years. He also works weekends. He hasn't seen his friends in quite some time and wishes he had the social life he had before he took the job. He's been told to seek different employment in past posts but this job pays very well for the type of work it is.

Find someone else who does night shifts/weekends, etc.. very common these days.
