bmichaell
General question for the ladies (or guys)...for Valentine's Day, would you rather go out for a meal, or have your boyfriend cook a nice dinner for you at home? For the record, I know my way around the kitchen, so either way she'd get a good meal ;-) Thanks! Link to comment
Betterwithout
How long have you been dating? You know your way around the kitchen, so I'd say at home. Have you cooked for her before? Link to comment
bmichaell
We've been going out for just about a year. I've cooked dinner for her several times and she always seems to love the meals i've made. Link to comment
Betterwithout
How about cooking dinner, then going out for a drink. Best of both worlds. Link to comment
tattoobunnie
If you cook for her regularly, I'd go out instead. It's the atmosphere - getting wined and dined. But this is speaking from a married lady, where romance can take a backseat, so enjoy, do something different! Link to comment
LadyAbbey31
Definitely cook her dinner!! My boyfriend and I go out to eat often, and he has cooked for me a few times. When he told me to come over on Valentine's day so that he could cook me dinner it made me so happy! Him cooking me dinner, no matter what it is, means a lot more to me than ANY restaurant ever could. Good luck Link to comment
lostandhurt
As long as you make it more than just dinner. Set the mood with candles, beautiful table cloth, vase of flowers and a nice bottle of wine with some music playing in the background. Make it really special by finding a great picture of the two of you and put in a heart shaped frame and place it next to the vase of flowers on the table. Lost Link to comment

j.man
I cook the 14th. If my girlfriend wants to go out for dinner on Valentine's Day, she pays. No way I'm putting in my own money to put up with all that mess. Link to comment
