Lucha
The weirdest thing happened to me when going out last saturday. I was at a lesbian party with my group of friends (all 25-28 years old). It had been a long time since I went out so was feeling a little uncomfortable. In fact I usually feel awkward at those parties but I went anyway to see my friends again and have fun. It was almost the end of the night and I was having fun with my friends, laughing and joking when a girl bumped into me and told me not to look so angry at her. I apologized, laughing and saying "I'm sorry, I'm afraid that's my regular face" (I'm a young psychiatrist so my resting face is quite serious, may be mistaken for angry haha).. Next she grabs my face and kisses me right next to the mouth, states how drunk she is and runs off. I was a little baffled and while I have no interest in that girl whatsoever, I wonder what her deal was. I'm really insecure so I tend to overthink this. Was she making fun of me? It's a little odd to randomly kiss people even when drunk, no? I feel a little mocked at for some reason, maybe I'm seeing ghosts. Would just like to know if this was mostly making fun of me and my apparently angry look, or the girl maybe was a little tad attracted to me and gave it a shot. Link to comment
Wiseman2
Sounds like she was a little drunk and was sort of acting out. Sounds like she's an extroverted party girl. There is a great thread on the 'scientifically proven' RBF phenomenon. told me not to look so angry at her. I apologized, laughing and saying "I'm sorry, I'm afraid that's my regular face" (I'm a young psychiatrist so my resting face is quite serious, may be mistaken for angry haha) Link to comment
WithLove
It just sounds like she'd been drinking and was feeling flirty. I doubt it meant anything, so don't overthink it. If she goes out of her way to contact you after, then you'll know she's interested. Otherwise, chalk it up as just something you experienced at a party, and move on. Link to comment
Sportster2005
Sounds like drunken poor judgment and disinhibition. It had absolutely nothing to do with you. Drunk people should be ignored. Link to comment

Agree with this. Sounds like someone who had a bit much to drink and was acting a bit erratically. I wouldn't think anything of it. Link to comment
RainyCoast
definitely just drunk. not worth thinking about. you felt mocked. that's worth thinking about, the subjective experience of derision. Link to comment
