New Relationship

Hi all, new to the site and just looking for someone to talk to. I've recently entered a relationship with amazing friends woman but I'm having a difficult time because she hasn't been in a relationship before. We're 24 and 23 years old and while I've had plenty of relationships she hasn't and I'm having difficulty communicating with her how I feel and figuring out how she feels because she's very shy and reserved. I guess my question is how do I show her how much I care without scaring her because she's not used to having a man care about her.

I am a practicing psychologist and I actually took this with some clients when we were covering healthy relationships haha. I wonder if she'd find it weird. I appreciate the replies, like I said I'm just trying not to push things too far because as someone mentioned I'm a more dominant personality I suppose. With both of us full time graduate students I'm just finding if difficult to get her out on dates and spending time together. I suppose that's just normal life stuff, it just is hard being the start of a relationship.

We're actually dating, officially in a relationship for a few weeks but going on dates and stuff since October
