Just keep focusing on the ups and downs of healing and moving on.So there's this guy friend of mine who's super sweet and nice, but he's like way too nice to me. I told him that I just got out of a relationship and need time to heal and be happy on my own, but he says he wants to help me to be happy and do nice things for me. Link to comment
zeino Posted January 4, 2017 Share Posted January 4, 2017 Maybe you are feeling an emptiness in your life sometimes and are trying to fill the emotional void with what is the most accessible for you at the moment - selective good memories of an ex who became an ex for a reason. You deserve something better than this for potential emotional satisfaction. Enrich your life, heal more to the level you feel you are thriving and socialize with others. Soon this feeling will fade. You can also remind yourself that you don't care about him at some other moments - when you are happier I guess. Do you know when exactly these thoughts hit you - like when you are alone, tired, going through some things on your own etc? Link to comment

Whenever I go to work, or hear a song that reminds me of him, or even the good memories make me cry. Idk how to forget it all Link to comment
