Chances after a second break-up

Clutching at straws really.

 

Does anyone know anyone who got back together after breaking up a second time.

 

My ex left in 2015 for 6 weeks but came back

 

Now left again 3 months ago saying we keep making the same mistakes (i disagree. ....we just paid for the old mistakes )

 

I am having a lot of trouble letting go. I suspect he's moved on. Hes not made any attempts to contact me.

Time. That's all I can suggest. In the meantime, work on yourself. Maybe he'll come back, maybe not. But you can't live in the past.

If he is feeling that nothing's changed.. then in his eyes, it hasn't...

And that's often how it goes.

 

IF a couple goes to 'try again'... and too soon, yes, it's often the problem- that the problems havent been dealt with at all... only you get together again.. cause you're missing each other etc.

That is no reason to go back.

 

Sadly, often attempts following the first inital BU also fail, for reasons.

1) Still grudge over pain from first BU

2) feelings often are not as strong second time around.

3) There are reasons you broke up first time.. which aren't fixed..improved.. etc.

 

Were you two together long term?
