bimjeam007
My love life is quite abysmal but thankfully improving. I was a late bloomer when it came to losing my virginity and haven't had a great deal of sex as a whole. On those rare occasions where I find myself on dates, and end up making out with the girl I'm with in a bar or something, I can often feel myself getting aroused / hard... and this is just from just us kissing (I mean making out and not just a peck on the cheek). I find myself getting worried of where she puts her hands, incase one of them brushes against my crotch and she notices. So I often hold / caress her hand if it gets too near, so that she can't notice. Is this normal? and could a girl get freaked out about me getting aroused just from us making out in a public place? Either way, I'm hoping this will disappear with experience... but by how things are going I'm not sure if maybe I'll always have this problem Link to comment
charity
Eh no, I think we pretty much expect that you'll get aroused when kissing. Link to comment

mustlovedogs
All totally normal! First piece of advice for good sex - don't overthink it and just be in the moment Link to comment
cheekychiquita
I don't think this has anything to do with your being inexperienced. I've been sexually active with a guy I've been dating for a long while now, and he gets "aroused" when I kiss his cheek sometimes; he always gets aroused when we make out. Prior to meeting me, he says he has had sex with between 10 and 20 females multiple times, so he's pretty experienced. This is why I doubt it has anything to do with inexperience. I also don't think a female's noticing your arousal after a makeout session would weird her out. Pardon my vulgarity, but it would turn me on to know that simply kissing me turns a guy on. And, in my opinion, if you're lucky, it won't disappear with more experience, because of my previous statement. :star: Link to comment
bimjeam007
Thanks for the responses, I actually had no idea this was normal! I thought it was me just being immature and getting excited too easily. I also don't think a female's noticing your arousal after a makeout session would weird her out. Pardon my vulgarity, but it would turn me on to know that simply kissing me turns a guy on. Part of me had a feeling girls might like it but I originally thought I best assume the worst just to be on the safe side... Link to comment
