Still struggling

So my long distance boyfriend who talked marriage with me found out I drunkenly instagrammed his ex a message asking about him.... immediately blocked her and felt embarrassed. She called him and I don't know what was said, but he went off on me badly via text telling to to off, he wouldn't even talk to me.

It's day 15 of no contact on either of our parts, and I'm so hung up and confused how he could do this after talking everyday for hours and discussing marriage, kids, and I'm the love of his life!? I apologized profusely for my part being insecure.

 

Can I salvage my mistake? How long no contact?
