NYkid91
I think had she been really into you/attracted to you, she wouldn't have cared that you live with your parents. Many people (men and women) live with their parents while in their 20s, saving to buy a house, or just saving, period. Personally, I didn't and wouldn't hold that against a guy, assuming again I was very into him. Not having a job? That's a bit different. Why don't you have a job? I mean you could do anything really, until your ideal job came along. It would show you are not mooching off your parents and are responsible. I do. Along with my side business, I work mainly part-time in the IT department of my school. However, if I get a full-time job sometime this month or so, I'll leave that. Link to comment

At least she told you something instead of just ignoring you, as so many people seem to be doing these days. Try to not analyze it too much. Link to comment
Ms Darcy
Well, to be fair, I did turn down a couple of hot guys who were unemployed and no prospects. I was into them, but I am into an equal relationship long term. Link to comment

I mean times are tough, but there are jobs out there, may not be the ideal situation, but you do whatever you can do until you find your ideal job. Instead of mooching off parents, friends, the government. That's just lazy. But it sounds to me like the OP is working, has a "side" business plus working part time. So his situation may be a bit different from your average unemployed lazy bum sitting on his rear, and waiting for the "perfect" job to fall out of the sky and collecting from the government in the meantime. Ms Darcy
Yeah, OP, you are not a bum! Link to comment
Wiseman2
You may do better with someone at the same life stage. Living with parents, saving up, finishing school, etc. she also works part-time right now as a linguist at a salon, lives with a roommate and wants to go for nursing sometime next year.
