2016 is complete crud. So many people so young.

Didn't have my hopes up even after she was reported "stable." No telling how long she went without oxygen. Very bad year for admired celebrities. Also happens to be the bloodiest year in almost 20 years back home in Chicago.

 

2015 was by far a worse year for me personally than 2016, but still hoping for a better 2017.

I'm in shock! 2016 has been one of worst years in my memory, I think, between deaths and personal/professional life. Whenever you think it can't get worse - it can!

Yah, so did I! CNN on Saturday reported her stable and would make a full recovery!

 

So sad, may she RIP.

I was afraid of this happening but suspected it would happen. They got her somewhat stabilized and moved to ICU but I felt she probably suffered brain damage because I read witness accounts that said they did CPR on her for like 10 min or close to.

 

That's a lot of time.

 

I just hope she was comfortable and her loved ones said all that they needed to say to her before she died.

Not to put even more of a damper on it, but it's always a sobering moment when people with all the financial means in the world can succumb to natural health issues. Almost like, "****, how much of a chance do I stand, then?" Granted, I'm certain a good chunk of these early celebrity deaths boil down to excess drug use to cope with the status, but still. Uncle of mine was a 52-year old, very fit and active policeman and died of a heart attack as well. Getting tougher and tougher to simply bank on making it to 80+.
