thelibero
I don't want to sound like a whiny 15 year old girl however what the heck; I want my cousin to treat me like her favorite! In 2010, we used to be really close now... if one of us in the same room we will move to a new room. I mean sure... maybe I should do that however she is always with "her" it annoys me. What happened? Why did we drift away. Sure she is 22 years old but, ages don't make a difference family is family right? She is my role model, and she knows that but I feel like she is going out of her way to not make me feel happy. I just want us to be close. Every time I bring it up, she get defensive and she doesn't want to talk about it. She said she would change but she hasn't! What should I do? I don't want to push her to far or I might never get her to talk to me!! What should I do!!! Skyler Link to comment

Bringing up your concerns doesn't seem to help, so don't do it anymore. Be kind to her, let her know through your words and actions that you respect and admire her, but let her do her own thing. Otherwise you could come across as needy and demanding, which will just push her further away. Link to comment
browser
Age can matter. There's a big difference between maturity levels of 15 vs 22 year olds. All you can do is show interest in her life, listen to her when she talks, pay attention to her, maybe she'll continue to enjoy your time together. Link to comment
