Need Advice, Dating..... ??????

Hi everyone

Ok, I met this girl through tinder (I meet quite a lot of girls through tinder and outside of tinder), we had a lot in common and had a good date. She messaged me after the date to say she had a really good time and when am I free next week to meet again.... I said a random day and she agreed...

I maybe didn't message her enough until then and she 'forgot' our date, I was looking forward to it but I wasn't holding my breath anyway, its been a week since we met she seems keen in text form but hasn't initiated to meet again and takes a while to get back to me but seems interested....

I definitely want to meet her again, she said she's going up to her friends for the weekend in another area. Should I wait to see if she initiates to meet or ask her ? or just not bother ?

Any advice on a bit of game here ?????

Thanks

Sorry this happened but you need to set up firm plans and confirm them the day before. She seems interested and asked you out after your first meet.

Texting it not dating or a relationship, but it is for communicating information like that. Text quantity and response times are nonsense if you can't plan and confirm and keep dates.

Why aren't you asking her out and setting up firm plans/dates and then texting to confirm them?

Exactly.

You want some advice, kid. Stop texting so much. Make plans in person or over the phone. It sounds like this girl likes you.

Pick up the phone later today and say something like this:

"Hey Susan, it's Jack. I was wondering if you're free on Sunday to grab some food. (Or whatever you want to do.) If you get her VM, don't hang up. Leave a VM. If she doesn't call you back, consider it a lost cause.

If she does however text you back, then pick a date and stick to it. It's up to her if she wants to continue. If she tells you she's busy or has other plans but doesn't follow up then drop her. This isn't a track, you don't need to be chasing her around in circles.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Don't play "wait to reply" games. If those are happening, you are texting way too much.

Just respond in a timely manner with whatever it is such as the date. Then stop the text-buddy friendzoning yourself stuff. Leave conversation for the date.

She messaged me last (going to wait a bit to reply), my next message will be to confirm a date....

It's holiday time and this means travel and full calendars and a stressful shopping squeeze for most people. I wouldn't personalize it or position it as game playing. I'd go with the flow, and see if she contacts you on her return. If not, I'd message her with a happy holiday wish if appropriate, and then I'd ask if she'd like to set a date after New Year. It's not that far away.
