gebaird
Some guys are all about the drama. I'm more a fan of emotional stability Give it time. Some guy, after being burned a few times by crazy girls, is going to be drawn to you and find your peaceful demeanor absolutely refreshing. Link to comment
greta96
i want to have a meaningful conversation actually go on a nice date even if its just watching a movie at my place. That is not a date. You need to aim for your dates to happen outside your (or their) place, there are so many fun things to do, just pick one of them and do it! Bringing guys home will almost always give out the wrong idea, and will have things move faster than you would like. You are still very young, guys your age are generally not looking to date seriously and if they get a hint that you may want something serious (even if it's not true) they'll bail. But no worries, the right guys will always stick around, just be patient. Link to comment
Wiseman2
Unfortunately it sounds like you are dating the wrong boys. Date boys who take you out and treat you with interest and respect. Start talking to nice boys and be friendly, smile, etc. Guys may be shy. Don't wait for the bad boys to approach you. Make things happen with nice boys. And stop trying to be "the cool girl" and settle for Netflix and chill. Choose self respect, not "I'm so chillax" thus have no standards. open your eyes boys why am i not good enough they go for the crazy ones but im left standing alone Link to comment
j.man
Sorry, but when you're the common denominator, that's what you should be addressing. Why on earth would you invite a guy to your house for a date and expect stimulating conversation and getting to know one another? Meet during the day. Meet publicly. Don't get drunk. It's really a simple formula. Link to comment
Hollyj
If you are only looking for sex, then by all means invite them back to your place. Be patient and look for better men. Expect more for yourself, not just any guy. Link to comment
katrina1980
open your eyes boys why am i not good enough they go for the crazy ones but im left standing alone Some guys are all about the drama. I echo what gebaird said. I have had guys admit they get off on the crazy girls, and all the drama and chaos they create. Why? Just a theory but I think it's because some men are so emotionally closed-off, that they NEED this type of emotional sturm and drang in their lives to feel emotionally stimulated and alive. When they meet a "nice, stable girl," they become bored and feel meh. Blah. Dead inside. Then they meet a "crazy," the overly-emotional type who brings tons of chaos into the RL (and his life) and WOW!!! Once again, he feels alive, emotionally-stimulated through HER and all the drama she brings with her. He may complain about it and her, but secretly he loves it, and needs it. The sex is often off the charts amazing with the crazy girl too, which is an added bonus! JMO based on what a few guys in my 'support group' have shared with me throughout the years. I don't attend anymore, but hell I sure learned a lot about guys while I was there. And from my brothers too. I have five but particularly close with two and they tell me everything! OP, most grow out of it eventually, so just continue being YOU. You do not want to become a psycho girl just to attract a few dysfunctional guys who are emotionally unavailable. There are lots of guys out there who aren't like that, keep looking, you will find one, I promise!! Link to comment
Sportster2005
I echo what gebaird said. The sex is often off the charts amazing with the crazy girl too, which is an added bonus! ! Don't know why this is, but it seems to be a pattern. The more drama/crazy the better the sex. It's anecdotal for sure, but enough for a pattern. I think a lot of men go after those types despite the drama, not because of it. And sometimes it's really no big mystery. The higher the attraction, the more we put up with. Until hopefully we realize the drama and foolishness isn't worth the attraction. I'm sure there are men/women who seek and crave drama. Crazy sexy women are the female equivalent of the bad boy. It's about fun and attraction. The underlying reasons are different for the genders, but the results are the same. OP you will always have to deal with being left behind while someone chases someone else. The reason doesn't matter at the end of the day. Link to comment
