So it's been 6 months that I haven't talked to anyone like dating and going out wise but now I feel like I'm ready again and I was going through my Facebook and I came across this guys profile. He is my relative's relative or friend Idk which one, but I really wanna talk to him and get to know him now the problem is...

My fb account doesn't have my picture which I'm not allowed to have a fb account at first place (NO I'm not underage) I'm 21 but I'm Indian so my family doesn't like me to have fb account but I do have it anyway. Now my friends are telling me to upload pics of myself so he knows who he's talking to but if I do so than my relative will know and what if they tell my family. Plus I'm extremely afraid of rejection which happened to me like 2 times. I'm so confused on what to do.

I wouldn't meet any guy or string him along if you will eventually have to leave him for your fiancée.

I can get my family to agree but I just don't know if I should talk to him or how to even do it

Hey Anna- I just looked back at your last posts and you mentioned that you wanted to move out of your parents house because it was depressing with a lot of drama. Is that possible? It seems to me like you are between a rock and a hard place while you are still at home. You can either do as your parents wish and have no FB photos, or you can move out and start to do what you want. Unfortunately when you live under your parents' roof and they pay your bills sometimes you have to follow their rules or face more drama. Is it worth it? If it is, find something on his page you have in common and send him a message on why you think it's interesting and how it relates to you.

Can you send him a pic through private message? That way he sees you but it's not public.

 

Maybe it's time to consider moving out on your own. Do you have a job?

Yes I do have a job and I do go to school. It's just in our culture that we have to live with our parents until marriage so I can't really move out

Look him up on Tinder they use fb data. Make a profile, upload nice pics and see if he's on there.

 

That would also tell you if he's on the market for dating. Tinder is more intended for dating than fb.

 

You can message and send pics at a later time. First start talking then worry about dating.
